Ok, this is not a craft / design / fashion post, as I have been really busy lately applying for jobs (fingers crossed here) and I wish I’d come up with some really creative way of collecting donations for the tripple disaster in Japan, maybe something sweet like this. But I haven’t done that either. What I do want to do though, is share one way in which you can donate. We do this though the LDS church, to which we belong. The church absorbes the 2% overheads their humanitarian services have and so 100% of the donated money goes to people in need  (we like that, right!) although the aid is not limited to Japan. This compares favourably to many other organisations that can have overheads as high as 30%. The Red Cross have overheads of 14% appearantly. Check out more about it and donate here
